Who Are We?
Our clinical team includes experienced travel health experts, doctors, and pharmacists who are passionate about keeping you safe abroad. They are supported by a dedicated team of over 10 staff, ensuring a smooth, friendly, and efficient service from start to finish.
We operate from a modern, purpose-built clinic equipped with multiple consultation rooms designed specifically for healthcare delivery. With over 50 free parking spaces on-site, our location is as accessible as it is professional.
We keep over 30 essential vaccines in stock at all times, covering a wide range of destinations and conditions including yellow fever, typhoid, rabies, and hepatitis. Our team stays fully up to date with the latest travel medicine guidelines and global vaccine recommendations, so you can travel with peace of mind.
Beyond individual travellers, we proudly support local schools across Oxford—including students participating in World Challenge expeditions—as well as corporate clients needing comprehensive vaccination plans for international staff.

Meet the Team
Dr D Copping
Director
MB BS BSc MRCGP DCH DRCOG DFFP DPD
Dr Copping qualified from St Mary’s Hospital, London, in 1991 before holding several positions at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. He then gained international experience working in Australia and New Zealand before completing his General Practice training at a GP surgery in Oxfordshire. In 1999, he joined Morland House Surgery, where he continues to practice. With a primary interest in dermatology, Dr Copping also values the diverse scope of general practice. Dr Copping is a strong advocate for collaboration between GP practices and pharmacies, recognising the mutual benefits of this partnership in enhancing and optimising healthcare services within the local community.
Professor A Harnden
Director

Professor Harnden has over 40 years of experience working for NHS, mostly as a general practitioner in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. He is professor of primary care at the University of Oxford and until December 2024, was a registrant council member of the General Medical Council. He was also Deputy Chair of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), playing a key role in ensuring public trust and patient safety during the distribution of the Covid vaccine. He retired from clinical practice in May 2024 and is currently Chair of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). He is particularly focused on protecting patient safety through robust surveillance and embracing risk-proportionate regulation.
Mr JS Gill
Director, Manager & Independent Prescriber

Mr Gill qualified from the University of Wolverhampton in 2010 and completed his Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Reading in 2019 and has held various senior roles, including Superintendent Pharmacist and Responsible Person. Notably, he served as the operational lead for a mass vaccination site during the COVID-19 pandemic. Passionate about the vital role of community pharmacy, Mr Gill is dedicated to showcasing how it serves as a cornerstone in supporting the healthcare needs of local communities. His professional interests include pharmacy acquisitions and business development, while his clinical expertise focuses on diabetes and weight management, travel health, and ear wax removal.
Mr TS Sumra
Superintendent Pharmacist

Mr. Sumra graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2010 and is the Superintendent Pharmacist at Wheatley Pharmacy. He ensures regulatory compliance, patient safety, and service excellence, drawing on his extensive community pharmacy experience to enhance patient care. Passionate about strengthening collaboration between pharmacies and local healthcare providers, he plays a key role in improving pharmaceutical services. In addition, he serves as the Community Pharmacy Lead for Thame PCN, advocating for innovation and integrated healthcare solutions.
Ms PS Bachheta
Pharmacist & Independent Prescriber

Ms. Bachhetta qualified as a pharmacist from the University of Brighton in 2015 and is an independent prescriber at Wheatley Pharmacy, specialising in travel health and vaccinations. She is an expert vaccinator within the pharmacy’s travel clinic and plays a key role in the weight loss clinic, supporting patients in achieving their health goals. She also has a strong interest in women’s health, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Committed to high-quality patient care, she ensures the safe and effective supply of medicines while delivering essential clinical services.
Ms J Keshani

Ms Keshani is a dedicated and passionate pharmacist, having qualified from John Moores University Liverpool before completing her pre-registration training at Leicester Royal Infirmary. With a strong commitment to patient care, she has a keen interest in supporting individuals dealing with opiate addiction, ensuring they receive the guidance and help they need.
Beyond her expertise in patient support, Ms Keshani is a natural leader in staff management. She thrives on motivating her team, fostering a dynamic and positive environment to ensure the highest level of care for every patient.
